Welcome to the July 30th, 2001 edition of the Valencic family newsletter

Well, a lot has happened since we last updated this page.  On July 19th, Joseph Daniel Valencic was born.  We had originally thought that he ad ARPKD (infantile polycystic kidney disease), but we found out that he has a rare and terminal chromosomal disorder called Trisomy 13.  You can see pictures and get more information on this disorder by going to our family home page.  (or Joseph's page here).

We were able to bring him home on Monday the 23rd, and he has been a joy to have in our home.  We don't know how long he will be with us, but we do know that he will be a part of our family forever.
