Here is the picture of his memorial stone, placed at his gravesite.
Joseph was born with a rare chromosomal disorder called Trisomy 13. This condition, in which there is an extra copy of the 13th chromosome, is a terminal disorder. Joseph was born with multiple heart defects (which include VSD, an AP window, and inversion), multi-cystic kidneys, polydactly (in which there are 6 fingers and toes on each hand and foot), a cleft palate and lip, and from all indications was deaf and blind. This page and the following pages are our tribute to him. He was only in our home a short time, but we loved him and know that he was able to feel our love. We take comfort in knowing that he will be part of our family forever, and we know we will see him again.
The following pages contain the many pictures we
have
taken of him, sorted (for the most part) by date.
